Step Screen – EQUIP STEP


EQUIP STEP is a mechanically cleaned screen ideal for headworks and water inlet structures. It consists of a stainless steel frame provided with a filtration area composed by fix and mobile lamellas. The distance between fix and mobile lamellas represents the screen meshes section. The frame is installed in the channel with an inclination angle usually 55° wastewater passes through filtration area (lamellas) and screenings are captured and lifted up by a chain. Screenings are removed from the filtration area and discharged. A compactor conveyor can optionally be installed under the discharge hopper in order to collect the screenings.

EQUIP STEP est un dégrilleur idéal en entrée de station d’épuration et structures d’entrée d’eau. L’équipement est composé d’un cadre en acier inoxydable avec zone de filtration composée de lamelles fixes et mobiles. La distance entre les lamelles représente l’entrefer de filtration. Le cadre est installé en canal avec un angle d’inclinaison généralement de 55°. Les eaux usées passent au travers de la zone de filtration (lamelles) et les criblures sont capturées et soulevées marche par marche sur les escaliers. Les déchets sont ensuite éjectés en haut de l’équipement.
